Kyle played baseball at Bella Vista High School in Fair Oaks, CA. He led the Broncos to the CAL League title, hitting .469 and earning CAL League MVP honors in his senior year.
He began his college career at Sierra College playing center field, second base and shortstop. In 2007 Kyle earned second team All Big-8 honors in 2007. In 2008 Kyle earned first team All Big-8 honors and the team won the CCCAA State Championship.
After two years at Sierra College, Kyle received a scholarship to play baseball at Cal State Bakersfield, where he started at shortstop. He led the Roadrunners in hitting his junior season, hitting .298, and finished his Division I career with a batting average of .278.
Sierra College 2015 - Present: Assistant Coach. Infield and hitting coach.
University of Nevada Reno 2014: Following his two seasons at Yuba College, Coach Kyle accepted a job at the University of Nevada, Reno as an Assistant Coach. His main priorities were to work with the infielders as well as assist with the hitters.
Yuba College 2012 - 2013: Head Assistant Coach. Promoted to Associate Head Coach in his second season at Yuba College.
Sierra College 2011: Assistant Coach. Infield and hitting coach. The 2011 infield led the Big 8 in fielding percentage and had all four infielders receive scholarships to play at the next level.
In addition to coaching during the spring, Kyle also served as a coach in the prestigious Alaska Baseball League for 5 years with the Kenai Oilers.
